LOLCat and #1 Entry in the Cycling Blog Series…

I hit the same blogs over and over, and there are a lot of great ones in the region.  What I don’t do is read much about happenings in the cycling world in other parts of the country.  Especially when it comes to the amateurs like myself.  You know, the ones that have to fund their own kits and gear.  So, I am going to start something new here:  Every week I am going to make a post about someone from somewhere else in the country.  If anyone has suggestions about sites or blogs from elsewhere that should get a post drop me a comment or email.  Now on to the first post in this new “series”…..

I was surfing some links sent to me by Mike at Gamjams.net and came across Steve Tilford’s site.  Steve is a pro racer from Kansas and it seems a stray cat has found it’s way in to his home.  On one of his training rides on a back road somewhere he came across this poor kitten and decided to take it home.  Great job Steve!

Read the original article and see the original picture here: Kitten’s name is WINK.

I spent some time looking around at Steve’s site and it looks like he’s posted some awesome results in several races!  He also just racked up some UCI points by doing some racing up in Toronto and posted a race report.  He got a 6th on his Saturday race, and 12th on Sunday.  Congratulations Steve!
