So I watched American Idol tonight and saw our “track bike riding” friend, Kanye West. So what the heck was that performance?? yo,Yo yo and all that synthesized crap, come on! Why is it that Kanye can actually still get a TV spot? What happened to people that can actually sing?

This weekend night there will be two FREE concerts put on by Bellissima Women’s Choral Ensemble! For those that dont know, Bellissima is Italian for “Most Beautiful”.  And that they are!  I am by no means an expert on choral groups, but what I have heard from this group is incredible.  This group of women has a beautiful sound and they perform in wonderful initimate settings.

They are definitely a group worth hearing and seeing!

This weekend’s concert series is titled Visions of Sacred Earth.  The show is presenting music about the planet Earth as a sustainer of life, and source of beauty in our mind and memory.

The first concert will be Saturday, November 15th at 7:30PM.  It will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church 6400 Newport Ave. Norfolk, VA.

The second concert is on Sunday, November 16th at 6:00PM.  This one will be in Virginia Beach at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  424 Kings Grant Road Virginia Beach, VA

I have been using the beta version of FF3 for a while.  It’s nice having similar interfaces across Linux, Mac, and Windows.  The way bookmarks are handled has improved as has memory usage.  The good list of the biggest improvements can be found at Lifehacker in their list of the Top 10 Firefox 3 Features.

The VB Wheelman and All About Bikes are teaming up to do a charity ride for the tornado victims in Suffolk. The ride is scheduled to take place on May 17th at 8:00AM with the option of doing a 40 or 25 mile loop.

Braden and gang have added a few new track events to the schedule. It sounds like it’s going to be a blast. Maybe this time I can make it and race rather than blow money for registration and get stuck at home sick.
